Each year, a team of editors is selected to put together an edited collection of papers and performances presented at the annual conference.  If you plan on attending this year's conference and are interested in putting together an editing team OR are interested in working as part of an editing team, please review this year's call for proposals:

 

Call for Proposals for the 2007 Editing Team
8th Curriculum & Pedagogy Conference Proceedings

DEMOCRATIZING EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE:
ENVISIONING, EMBODYING, ENACTING

 

This call is an invitation to members of the C&P community to create an editing team whose purpose is to solicit manuscripts to be included in the 8th Conference Proceedings. (In order to meet publication deadlines, please note that these manuscripts will be due to the editing team no later than December 31, 2007.)  
    
This book will be a maximum of 220 book pages, allowing for 8-12 papers of no more than 25 manuscript pages each, to include references. The Editing Team Proposal, which will be submitted, via email to loua373@aol.com or hard copy, to the Publications Committee of the Council by Friday, October 5, at 10:00 A.M., should include the following information:
 
Team Membership: Please list the members, their institutions, and their email addresses. At the most the team should include no more than four people, with inter-institutional representation. This number is to include at least one senior faculty member and a combination of junior faculty members, graduate students, and practitioners, all of whom must have access to reliable email.
 
Support: Briefly describe how the team members will have access to institutional support, such as copying, etc.
 
Capacity: Describe the expertise, interests, and background of the team's members.
 
Vision for the Project: Please describe how this editing team will create an edited book that is reflective of the 2007conference theme and consistent with the C&P statement of purpose (see http://curriculumandpedagogy.org/about_candp.html ). This vision must also include how the team will solicit and support Category 2 submissions, such as art work, web-based, CDROM works,  as a part of the Conference proceedings and on the Conference website.
 
Members of the prospective team are also encouraged to attend the Thursday session “Comments on Editing the Curriculum and Pedagogy Group's Annual Conference Proceedings.
